Ayamaru Matsuri - Postponed to August 15-16

Due to the incoming typhoon on the proposed weekend, Kasari's Ayamaru Matsuri is rescheduled to the following week.

Setouchi Minato Matsuri - Confirmed for August 15-16　

It looks like Kasari and Setouchi's festivals will double up this year, as the southern town will be hosting its harbour festival the same weekend. This year also marks the 70th anniversary of the town's founding, so expect a lively party down there!

Yamato Hiratomi Matsuri - Confirmed for August 29-30

The western village of Yamato has confirmed the schedule for its Hiratomi Matsuri festival - the 29th will contain the Funakogi boat racing tournament, while the stage events will happen on the 30th.
