Passengers arriving at Amami Airport on July 1st were greeted with celebratory smiles and gift bags as both Japan Airlines and Peach Aviation commemorated their routes to Amami Oshima. Japan Airlines celebrated the 60th anniversary of three different routes: Amami Oshima to Kagoshima, Kikaijima, and Tokunoshima.
Meanwhile, Peach Aviation marked the 10th anniversary of its Narita–Amami Oshima route with a water salute! The celebration continues on the ground with one of the local buses traveling from the airport to Naze, decked out in striking Peach colors. Be sure to keep an eye out for it!
