Yanigawa St.

Yanigawa is a popular bar street in Naze, Amami City lined with Amami-style izakayas (Japanese pubs), restaurants, live music venues, and more that offer both delicious food as well as a glimpse of the nightlife scene of Amami. Many izakayas feature Amami kokuto Shochu (brown sugar distilled liquor), among other local cuisine. Business hotels are on the end of the street towards the port, and are ideal for those spending multiple nights in Naze.
